The packaging is automated in the sawmills, and the number of pieces per package is standardized. The packing is defined by the size of the pallets: 1m x 1m.

Packages are generally packaged in length packets (LP) one meter by one meter, securely strapped with plastic strapping (Polish mills are prohibited from using steel strapping). The goods are strapped and protected by boards. They are also tarpaulined if they were dried without being treated (plastic sheeting 5 faces to the unimpregnated dry wood).

PackagesSpecial packing and special packaging requirements can be provided on request. Goods can for instance are bundled into small packages bound with a few pieces.
